Obituary of Carlo Nicholas Ciabattoni

Carlo Nicholas Ciabattoni, age 80 of Glen Mills, PA, passed away on November 3, 2025.

A life well-lived, Carlo was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, friend and a successful IT professional.

Carlo met the love of his life, Nancy in 1994. After many wonderful years dating, Nancy proposed to Carlo on the beach in Ocean City, MD on New Year's Day 2000 at sunrise, aka, "First Light Of A Thousand Years". Married since 2001, Carlo and Nancy embarked on many adventures together and could always be found gathering friends and family at their table.

In addition to Nancy, Carlo found great joy spending time with his daughter, Shannon, and his two wonderful grandsons, Nicolas and Christian.

A proud South Philadelphian, Carlo graduated from South Philadelphia High School "Southern", Class of 1963. Carlo went on to attend Temple University and served his country in the US Army. An IT Consultant by profession, Carlo and his business partner, Bruce, ran a very successful IT Consulting firm, Advanced Programming Group, Inc, (APG) for more than 20 years before retiring.

Carlo was an active member of the South Philadelphia Lions Club, the South Philadelphia Italian American Club and the Knights of Columbus.

A passionate Philadelphia sports fan, he also had a deep love of history and enjoyed participating in historical reenactments.

Carlo was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Eleanor (Bilotti) Ciabattoni

A Celebration of Life in early December will offer friends and family ample opportunities to share special memories of the impact Carlo had on their lives.

In lieu of flowers and in Carlo's memory, find a way to bring joy and laughter into someone else's day.
