Obituary of Donna Lee Becker

Donna Becker, Age 80, of Chadds Ford, PA, passed away at Brinton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, October 23, 2025. Born in Chester, PA, Donna spent her last years with her beloved dog, Missy Mae, at her long-time family home in Chadds Ford, PA. Donna began her career at Scott Paper, but felt disconnected from nature, leading her to make a career change. She transitioned to administrative and secretarial roles for the business established by her husband, John "Jack" Becker. This allowed her to spend more time in the outdoors and gave her the flexibility to raise her children. The business, which evolved over time into Becker Building, became a true labor of love for Donna, Jack, and their son, John "Mike" Becker. Together, they built a legacy of beautiful homes throughout Chester and Delaware County. An avid lover of animals, Donna always had a dog by her side. Donna enjoyed many trips to the family's vacation homes; skiing trips in Snowmass, Colorado, deep-sea fishing in Key West, Florida, and many boat and beach days in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Walter A. and Bessy M. [Amos] Davis; her brother, Walter R. Davis; her sister, Rebecca "Becky' Davis; as well as by her loving husband John "Jack' C. Becker, and their devoted son John "Mike" Becker. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Becker, and four grandchildren: Jules Dill, Chase Dill, Halle [Becker] Miller, and Maci Becker.
