Obituary of Sarah E. Fox
Sarah E. "Sally" Fox, age 74, of Boothwyn, PA, passed away on November 4, 2025, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Chester, Sally attended Chichester High School and was raised in Linwood, where she lived in the same home for many years before moving to Glen Mills. She later returned to Boothwyn, where she made her home for the past 15 years. She was an agent at Louviers Federal Credit Union (formerly Chestnut Run Credit Union) and a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church. An avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, Sally also enjoyed playing Bingo, listening to Elvis, and watching her favorite soap operas. She enjoyed following politics and was a member of the Republican Party. She will be remembered for her spirited personality and the love she shared with those closest to her.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Sally's neighbors, friends, and family for their support and companionship over the years, as well as to the doctors, nurses, and palliative care staff at Riddle Memorial Hospital for their kindness and care.
In addition to her parents, Robert L. and Lillian M. (Graham) Harwood, Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard L. Fox, Jr., who passed in 2014; her son, Leonard L. Fox III, who passed in 2000; and her sisters, Eileen R. Marshall and Gladys R. Kinsler.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Mallon; her sisters, Rose E. (John) Faulkner and Roberta A. (Jimi) Profitt; her grandchildren, Serenity R. Mallon and Winter L. Mallon; and her cherished Yorkie, Mikie, who brought her constant comfort and joy.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th, from 10:00–11:00 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. Donations in Sally's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
