Obituary of Ruth Anne Montgomery

Ruth Anne Montgomery, age 68, of Wayne, PA, passed away on October 28, 2025 at Chester County Hospital.

Born and raised in Sharon Hill, PA, she was the daughter of the late David F and Margaret C. (Fankhanel) Montgomery. Ruth Anne had resided in Wayne for the past 12 years, previously living in Chesterbrook, PA.

She worked as a Legal Secretary for many years and spent the last 20 years of her career with SEI Investments before retiring. She was devoted to her dog Riley and loved visiting Kennebunkport, Maine. Ruth Anne enjoyed trips to Brigantine NJ and treasured time spent with her friends and family, especially her great-nieces and nephew, Leslie, Juliet, and Davey.

She is survived by her brothers, David F (Janice) Montgomery and Richard E (Allison) Montgomery; her nieces and nephews, Suzanne (Joseph) DiGirolamo, David (Emily) Montgomery, R Forrest Montgomery and Mary Lacey Montgomery; and her great-nieces and nephew, Leslie, Juliet, and Davey.

A visitation for Ruth Anne, will take place on Tuesday, November 11 At St. Thomas The Apostle Church in Glen Mills, PA in the Old Church from 9:30-10AM. A mass of Christian Burial will begin 10AM. Interment will remain Private.
