Uncle Joe was the very definition of "a good man". He was kind and caring and loved to help people. He was a role model for all of us who knew him and an uncle we greatly loved and admired. He will be dearly missed.

Dear Della, Beth, Marilou, family & friends,
How do you capture my 50+ years of friendship? First by honoring the love the two of you shared for 50+ years. To the girls - the love &
pride that your dad had for both of you was evident in our countless conversations over the years. Della, there are great memories of all
the dinners we shared with friends. Then there were the various "retiree" luncheons that Mike C & I enjoyed with Joe. Of course, talk
of the pride that he had and showed for his grandsons.
Finally, I'll always remember that infectious smile that the camera captured of a tall, dark, handsome groomsman in a gray tux at Chrissy and I's wedding 45 years ago.
Rest in peace, good buddy.

To Joe's family and friends,
Please accept my sincere apologies. I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Joe. It was such a privilege and honor to work with him at SEPTA. Through his interactions, Joe modeled kindness, patience and empathy. Just a wonderful and pleasant person to be around; always smiling and positive. I looked forward to hearing about his experiences for his love for Della (singing voice), daughters and grandsons. Joe was an amazing person and beamed with pride whenever he shared pictures of his family.
May Joe's memory live on forever. May the Blessed Mother comfort his family and friends.
Rest in Peace. Mary Grace DeSantis
