Obituary of Carolyn A. Tuohey

Carolyn "Kenny" A. Tuohey, age 86, of Aston, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on September 28, 2025.

Born in Chester, PA, Kenny had been a proud resident of Aston for the past 65 years. She worked as a school bus driver for the Penn-Delco School District for 32 years, retiring in 2004. Since 1972, she also bartended at the Lenni VFW, where she enjoyed the friendships and camaraderie of the community.

Kenny was a devoted member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She was also active with the Lenni VFW and the American Legion in Aston.

She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Sara Wilson LaChette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Francis LaChette, Bernadine Gaines, Alexander LaChette, Anthony LaChette and Joan Bruni.

Kenny is survived by her loving sons, John (Leona) Tuohey, Michael Tuohey, Philip Tuohey, and Kenneth (Trisha) Tuohey; her brother, Anthony LaChette; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the Lenni VFW at the corner of New Rd. and Crozerville Rd. in Aston, PA.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Kenny's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org). Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.paganofuneralhome.com
