I was so saddened to hear of Buddy's passing. I always remember him as a big tease with a laugh and a smile. He was the most fun family member I remember. I loved when he would take me for rides on his motorcycle, although I suspect my mother made him stop. I always looked forward to seeing him whenever I could. He lived across the street most of the time I was growing up.
He was enough older than me that I thought he was my uncle until I was about 18 and started thinking about it. I never saw him without a smile.
