Obituary of Barbara Ann Minton

Barbara Ann Minton, age 88, of Media, PA, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025 at Sunrise of Granite Run. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Lansdowne, Barbara was a 1955 graduate of Lansdowne High School. She resided in Media for the past three years, having previously made her home in Glen Mills. A devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan, Barbara found her greatest joy in time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Harry and Virginia (Gimmi) Senatz, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dale Minton, who passed in 2017, and her son, Ken Powell, who passed in 2024. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Jeanne (Mike) Doan; daughter-in-law, Barbara Powell; brother, Harry (Cathy) Senatz; sisters, Virginia "Ginny" (Roger) Comer and Kathy (George) Fenwick; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
