Obituary of Dana Lee Barnum
Dana Lee Barnum, age 79, of Glen Mills, PA, peacefully went home to be with his Lord on August 13, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Born and raised in Berwick, PA, Dana was a proud graduate of Berwick High School, class of 1963. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Dana, a Certified Master Locksmith, was the owner and operator of South Penn Lock & Safe Co. in Media, PA for over 50 years and was highly respected in his field. He was a member of ALOA (Associated Locksmiths of America), serving on its board for 10 years, as well as a member of SAVTA (Safe and Vault Technicians Association) and GPLA (Greater Philadelphia Locksmith Association), where he also served on the board.
Dana loved traveling and going on cruises with his wife, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He loved most his savior Jesus, and faithfully attended and served in his local church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Alma (Pullen) Barnum, and two brothers, Lewis and Winston Barnum. He is survived by his loving wife, Diana Barnum; five children, Deborah Barnum, Donna (Shawn) Bupp, Dawn (Joseph) Wright, Daniel Barnum, and Dave (Sunny) Barnum; two brothers, L. Jay Barnum and Rowland Barnum; and 11 cherished grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30th, from 10:00AM at Brandywine Valley Church, 7 Mt. Lebanon Road, Wilmington, DE. A Memorial Service at 11:00AM will be followed by a luncheon.
