Obituary of Barbara A. Pierdomenico

Barbara A. Pierdomenico, age 90, of Boothwyn, PA, passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2025.

Born in Chester and raised in Wallingford, PA, Barbara spent the last 38 years in Boothwyn, having previously lived in Linwood, where she raised her beloved family. A proud graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA, she went on to build a successful career as Director of Billing Services at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where she worked for 25 years before retiring in 2010.

Barbara was a devoted and active member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church, where she generously volunteered her time at church events and with the Senior Club. She also gave her time as a volunteer at Riddle Hospital. Barbara loved spending time with her church community friends, visiting the beach, traveling, and most of all, cherishing moments with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Veronica Walker Jones, and her beloved husband of many years, Quinto G. Pierdomenico, who passed in 2013.

Barbara is survived by her loving children: Marie (Mark) Earnhardt, John (AnneMarie) Pierdomenico, Carol (Bill) Lewis, and Christine (Larry) Hart; her sister, Ethel Jones; ten grandchildren: William (Lydia), Brian (Anna), Amanda (David Dicce), Alyssa, Katie (Eric), Nicole, Kevin (Dyreka), Joe (Kendra), David (Haley), and Andrew; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, August 13th, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Aston, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
