Obituary of Anne R. Curry
Anne R. Curry, age 91, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025 at home.
Born and raised in Chester, PA, Anne had made her home in the Fox Hill Farm community in Glen Mills for the past 26 years. Prior to that, she resided in Parkside, PA. Anne dedicated 26 years of her professional life as an executive assistant at Widener University, retiring in 2004.
She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan and a devoted member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Previously, she was also a member of St. Anthony's Church in Chester and Our Lady of Charity in Brookhaven.
Anne was known for her warm spirit and many interests. She enjoyed country line dancing with her friends, crafting ceramics, and creating treasured photo albums. Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late George A. and Jean Nardello Yannacone and was also preceded in death by her brother, John A. Yannacone.
Anne is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, George A. Curry Jr.; her three sons, Michael (Madeleine) Curry Sr., Brian (Valerie) Curry, and Joseph (Tanya) Curry; eight cherished grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, August 9th, from 10:00-10:45AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
