Obituary of Deloris Olson

Deloris Olson, 92, of Glen Mills, PA passed away peacefully on July 25th, 2025. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother as well as a dedicated nurse who touched many lives. Born on May 31st,1933 in Kane, PA, Deloris dedicated her life to caring for others, both professionally and personally. She graduated from the St Francis School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA and worked as a nurse for over 40 years. Her compassion and expertise were a comfort to countless patients and their families. Beyond her professional life, Deloris was the heart of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Gail Olson who passed away in 2023. She was a loving mother to 3 daughters: Deborah Aitken, Cynthia Olson and Rebecca Olson. Deloris cherished her role as a grandmother to 2 wonderful grandsons: Christopher Aitken (Dannielle) and Stephen Aitken (Kelsey), always present at their lacrosse games and offering unwavering support. And in the past 3 years she was blessed with 3 great-grandchildren: Cameron, Reilly and Robbie who gave her unending happiness. Deloris will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and strength. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. A visitation for Deloris will take place on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 1:30PM - 2:30PM at Maris Grove Chapel, 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills. A service will begin at 2:30PM. Interment, Private.
