Obituary of Barbara J. Hutchinson

Barbara J. Hutchinson, age 90, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, at Foulk Living. Born in Harrisburg, PA, and raised in Philadelphia, Barb had been a resident of Foulk Living since 2019. Prior to that, she lived for 13 years in Log Run, Wilmington, and was a longtime resident of Brookhaven, PA. Barb worked as an administrator for Taylor Hospital for many years before retiring in 2009. She enjoyed camping, sewing, traveling, and visiting lighthouses. In addition to her parents, Roy M. and Lois Pope McFadden, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William J. Hutchinson, who passed in 2019, and her sister, Marion Hudson. Barb is survived by her son, Bill Hutchinson and his wife, Sharon; her sister, Harriet Colberg; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held privately.
