Obituary of Dianne L. Griffin

Dianne "Lady Di" L. Griffin, age 79, (five days shy of her 80th birthday) of Trainer, PA, passed away peacefully at home on July 13, 2025. A resident of Trainer for the past 45 years, Dianne was well known and loved in her community. She worked as a bus aide for the Penn-Delco School District and previously was employed by the Franklin Mint. She also enjoyed bartending at Lefty's Irish Pub in Marcus Hook, where she made many lasting friendships. Dianne was a proud member of the Lennox Park Ladies Auxiliary, Station 68. Known for her fun-loving spirit, Dianne enjoyed country and western music and was a devoted fan of both the Philadelphia Eagles and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She loved trips to Rehoboth Beach, weekends at her trailer at Crystal Beach Manor, and cheering on her favorite NASCAR drivers. Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Bertha Gaines Middleton, and her two grandsons, Bruce Alan and Justin. She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Ed Griffin Sr.; her four children, Penny (William) Johnson, Bruce Shertenlieb, Edward (Chrissy) Griffin Jr., and Dawn Griffin; her five cherished grandchildren, Christina, Kaycee, Elizabeth, Emily, and Matthew; and her two great-grandchildren, Jenna and Willow. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
