Obituary of Amber Stead Jones

Amber Stead Jones, formerly known as Amber Marie Morrison, 33, of Coatesville, PA, passed away on June 23, 2025, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Born in Phoenixville, PA, Amber was a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania and lived in various communities throughout the state.

Amber graduated from Pocono Mountain High school and later studied food preparation and restaurant management. Amber worked locally in the restaurant and food industry from McDonalds and Burger King to most recently Turkey Hill in Downingtown. She was also involved in Job Corp for many years. She was known for her infectious laugh that could light up any room and her unwavering determination in the face of life's challenges. Amber was a loving and devoted mother, whose children were the center of her world.

She was predeceased in death by her father, James Albert Smith. She is survived by her mother, Desiree Gene Partner; her son Ni'Ree Cheyney Johnson, her devoted partner Sergio Chavez and father of their 2 children Emilio Isaac Chavez Jones and Eluney Chavez Jones. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother Paula S. Morrison; Great Aunt Debbie A. Suhobrus; Aunts Brandy and Danielle Morrison along with many cousins. She is also survived by her loving and faithful Aunt, Kelly Supplee (Robert Scott); and her brothers Robert Jones and Damien Morrison.
