Obituary of Virginia L. Imre

Virginia "Ginny" L. Imre, age 94, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, at Rose Court at Maris Grove.

Born in Chester and raised in Aston, PA, Ginny spent the past 17 years as a resident of the Maris Grove community in Glen Mills and was a longtime resident of Aston prior to that.

After raising her family, Ginny worked as a secretary for Gillespie and Ritchie Plumbing for 10 years, retiring in the late 1970s. She was a graduate of Chester High School and a devoted member of Mount Hope Church.

Ginny loved traveling across the country in the RV with her husband, spending time at the family beach house in Wildwood, NJ, and going on cruises and bus tours with the Sun Oil Retirees Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Clara (Breeding) Stubbs; her beloved husband, Thomas W. Imre, Sr., who passed away in 2019; her sister, Joan Pierce; and her brother, Robert Stubbs.

Ginny is survived by her son, Thomas (Rebecca) Imre; her grandsons, Timothy (Katie) and David (Meredith) Imre; and her great-grandchildren, Trevor and Harper Imre.
