Obituary of Robert L. Giacopetti

Robert L. Giacopetti, age 79, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away on June 30, 2025, at Rose Court in Maris Grove.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Yeadon, PA, Robert was the son of the late Louis and Rose Marie (Cerasoli) Giacopetti. He resided at Maris Grove for the past year and previously lived in Garnet Valley for 19 years and Springfield, PA.

Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. He later worked as a carpenter at the University of Pennsylvania for 36 years before retiring.

He had a passion for antique cars and enjoyed attending car club events. A fan of Western films, Bob was also a member of the NRA and especially loved going on cruises with his beloved wife, Connie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Guido Giacopetti.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Connie Giacopetti; his two sons, Robert J. Giacopetti and Michael Giacopetti (Candy); and his cherished grandson, Rene Giacopetti.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Maris Grove Chapel, 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
