Obituary of Robert J Darby

Robert "Bob" Darby, age 83, of Garnet Valley, PA, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Woodburne, PA, Bob spent the past 18 years in Garnet Valley, previously residing in Parkland, Bucks County. He was a dedicated commercial surveyor, working for various companies throughout his career. A graduate of Neshaminy High School, Bob was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his community. Bob and his wife attened Valley Point Church in Glen Mills, PA. In his earlier years, he was a devoted Boy Scout leader and proudly volunteered with the Fairless Hills and Penndel Fire Companies. An outdoorsman at heart, Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and, in his younger days, bowling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Ellen (Sypher) Darby. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Terri Darby; his daughters, Alicia (Albert) Krauss and Jennifer (Jeremy) Sandner; and his cherished grandchildren: Marisa, Natalie, and Rachel Krauss; Branden, Emily, Charlotte, and Karaline Sandner; and Cameron Landers. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM. Entombment will take place at Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
