Obituary of Charles L. Brodeur
Charles L. Brodeur, age 95, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on June 26, 2025.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Steven Lionel and Anna (McCusker) Brodeur. Charles had resided in Glen Mills since 1996, previously living in Chester Heights, PA.
He worked as a union official in the trades of lathing and carpentry in Philadelphia and was also a proud member of the International Carpenters Union in Washington, D.C. In his free time, Charles enjoyed golfing and was an avid sports fan — especially devoted to Penn State Football and the Philadelphia Phillies.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rosemary T. Brodeur, who passed away in 2010, his son James Brouder, as well as his siblings: Aldora Jenner, George Brodeur, Dave Brodeur, and Joseph Brodeur.
Charles is survived by his six children: Rosemary (Michael) Mayberry, Barbara Powell, Charlie (Marybeth) Brodeur, Nancy C. King, Kim (Bill) Mangan, and Jennifer (Brian) Kratzer; 15 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
