John & Stacey, I'm so sorry for your loss. One of the things I remember about your mom is that she was authentic with those of us from the youth group, even as teens. She spoke to us with candor, and I appreciated that; I interpreted it as a willingness to engage without condescending to us.
I can only imagine the loss you feel at her passing. May the memories you all share sustain you as you process your grief (which is often complicated), and may the God of all comfort be your *anchor* through it all. Sending love to you all.
