Obituary of Satyanarayan R. Kasat

Satu Kasat, age 85, of Garnet Valley, PA, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in India as one of seven siblings, Satu built a life rooted in education, hard work, and devotion to family. He earned advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics, which led to a long and successful career as an Electrical Engineer with Kimberly-Clark, formerly Scott Paper. For more than 45 years, Satu made his home in Garnet Valley, where he was known for his warmth, giving nature, and sharp intellect. He enjoyed daily walks, watching tennis, and playing cards, but his greatest joy came from time spent with his family—especially his grandchildren. Satu is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Vimla Kasat; his two children, Ravi Kasat and his wife Anu, and Rita Ferrari and her husband Michael. He was a proud and loving Dada/Nana to his four grandchildren: Vinay Kasat, Neelam Ferrari, Ishan Kasat, and Navin Ferrari, whose lives and accomplishments brought him immense pride and happiness. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14, from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, followed by a service concluding at 12:00 PM, at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA.
