Obituary of Jacob M. Jacob

Jacob M. Jacob, age 76, of Lansdowne, PA, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025 at Chestnut Ridge Assisted Living. Born in Chengannur, India to Koshy Chacko and Luve Chacko, Jacob immigrated to the United States in 1974 and settled in Pennsylvania, where he lived in Lansdowne for 40 years. Before coming to the US, Jacob worked as an auditor for the Indian Government. When he came to the USA, he became the first Indian rail operator for SEPTA. Later he transitioned to become a paralegal until his retirement. He had a true passion for cooking and found great joy in preparing meals for his family and friends. He took pride in caring for his home and was wholeheartedly devoted to his loved ones, especially his beloved grandchildren. In addition to his parents and five of his siblings, Jacob was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Baby Jacob, who passed away in 2019. He is survived by his loving daughters, Binu Jacob and her husband Sanjay George, and Betty Ray and her husband Stephen Ray. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Angelina Sanjay, Gabriella Sanjay, Jacob Koshy, and Selina Koshy, as well as his siblings: Gracy, Alice, and Jolly. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, where friends may call from 1:00 – 2:00 PM.
