Obituary of Timothy A. Talley

Timothy Andrew Talley, 60, of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania passed away at his home on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Joseph Francis Talley and Anne Marion Talley.

Timothy was born and raised in Chadds Ford and graduated from Salesianum High School in 1982. Timothy held the D1 cross country state champion title in 1980 and 1981 as well as other records in track and field.

For over 30 years, Tim dedicated his career to serving the community at Delmarva Power.

Throughout his life, Tim found solace and peace in the great outdoors. Whether he was sitting in a tree stand, standing on a river bank with a fishing pole in hand, or simply taking a hike, nature was his sanctuary. He reveled in the freedom and tranquility that came with being surrounded by the natural world.

He is survived by his four children: Rachel E. Fis (Jorge), Melissa A. Talley, Leah N. Talley (Tyler), Nathaniel J. Talley, two grandchildren, and siblings Joseph Talley, Michele Palmer, and Dana Kimbro.

A die-hard Philadelphia sports fan, Tim enjoyed cheering on his beloved teams with family and friends. He was also a fan of the Grateful Dead, their music brought him joy and inspiration. Tim's legacy as an athlete, music lover, and outdoor enthusiast will be remembered by those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all who cherished his love for life and the beauty of nature.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
