Obituary of Diane G. Abramson

Diane Abramson, 91, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on March 18, 2025, in Glen Mills, PA. She was the daughter of the late David Grabosky and Gertrude Heinle.

Diane was originally a medical secretary for our female pediatrician, later for several surgeons in Wilmington. She had a house full of plants, including orchids, African violets, and many others. She started a gardening club in Wilmington and loved teaching people about plants. She was a judge for the local African Violet Society flower shows. She also led a plant group at Maris Grove.

She spent summers at Atlantic City (growing up), and later, in Brigantine and Cape May. She enjoyed playing cards and square dancing.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Sue. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Ellen, who died in a skiing accident, as well as her parents. She was an only child. Services will be held privately. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.paganofuneralhome.com
