Obituary of Christina Lutz

Christina Lutz, age 36, of Aston, PA passed after fighting a long term illness—one she endured with extraordinary strength, grace, and a smile that never faded, on June 1, 2025 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Raised in Aston, PA, Christina graduated from Chichester High School, class of 2007. She then attended the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology. Christina was a devoted and joyful mother, a treasured friend, and a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. Despite her illness, she was endlessly upbeat and full of life, never letting her circumstances define her. Her strength was quiet and steady, wrapped in laughter, love, and the kind of kindness that left lasting impressions. She traveled the world with her friends, singing, dancing, and spreading joy wherever she went. Christina had a beautiful soul—funny, silly, never too serious, and always able to find the good in people and in every situation. Her ability to make others laugh was unmatched, and her warmth was the kind that made strangers feel like lifelong friends. More than anything, Christina found joy and purpose in being a mother and gave her children the same love, light, and kindness that she gave to everyone fortunate enough to know her. If you knew Christina, you loved her. It's hard to imagine anyone who didn't. She was truly one of the good ones—someone who made the world better just by being in it. She will be missed beyond words, remembered with love, and carried in our hearts always. Christina is survived by her 2 children, Anthony Szczurek Jr (AJ), and Dominic Szczurek, parents, Douglas S. and Michele Wilson, siblings, Courtney Lutz, Austin (Bethany) Wilson and Amber Wilson (Jake), nephews Clayton and Easton Wilson, niece Daisy Wilson, the loving father of her children, Anthony Szczurek Sr., several aunts, uncles and cousins and her long time best friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th from 10-11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA 19060 followed by a Funeral Service at 11AM at Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, in Linwood, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Christina's memory may be made to the Eagles Autism Foundation.
