Uncle John was a beast of a man, he was rough with a great sense of humor. He taught me to roof at a young age and took me fishing on the brandywine river Sunday afternoons. I always looked up to him and replicated some of the traits he had that really helped me in life. I’m happy to know he is at peace and will always celebrate that man’s life

Uncle John was a great guy. I will always remember walking down to their house as a little girl to visit, and Uncle John would graciously share his computer so I could play my little games (we did not have a computer at the time). There were so many great memories visiting or even on a holiday. I will never forget your laugh, and the way you would chew gum and smile. I will miss seeing you sitting on the porch or fiddling in the garage when I would drive by and honk. You worked hard, but you had fun too. To this day, when a blue work truck with ladders on top drives past, I look twice and wave thinking, “it’s Uncle John!” The last time I saw you, you were sitting in church, and now you are more alive than ever with your Maker! Thankyou for loving Aunt Cheryl, your family, and for being the coolest Uncle around. I will miss you!!

When I first met John, my brother in law, I was just a kid of 12 or 13. My siblings and I were enjoying a day at Rehoboth Beach when my sister Cheryl and her boyfriend John entered the scene. Out of protective interest I noticed he was a good looking man, like a movie star, as though he just walked off the "set" of a pirate ship. He had long, dark, curly hair, sun tanned skin, and sparking dark eyes. His flashing white teeth and robust laughter enraptured any listener. He barely noticed any of us as he was smitten with my beautiful, model sister, Cheryl. Growing to know John over the years, I gained great admiration for the loving, steady and stable man that he is. My appreciation grew for his dedication to my sister and loving father to his children. With his heart of gold, he didn't hesitate to help others in need. He and Cheryl cared for my father during a critical time of declining health. They also opened their home to me during a transition while in college. He had a knack for making everyone feel included as part of the family and never a burden. I will always be gateful for my brother John and never forget the hospitable, gracious man that he was and all he did for me. My husband Mike and John also became great friends and brothers. He worked for John, who taught him the tasks of the the trade. We will always miss him. Thankyou Lord for giving us John Kazmirski. He knew you as his personal savior so we look forward to seeing John again on that beautiful shore of Heaven!

Heaven gained a good man as my Dad John Walter Kazmirski Jr went home to the Lord. I will treasure the times we had here on earth together. Thank you for being a good Dad. I’m proud to be your daughter. I think about so many wonderful memories of our times together. You taught me so many things… how to fish and put a worm on my hook, how to ride my bike, poker, loud booming laughter, wwf, building a fire, driving the truck, exploring on Route 9, biker bar, Crosby stills and Nash concerts, country music on the pier, the Milky Way, golf (sorry I ruined our chances of going pro!) haha! Love you Dad! See you in heaven one day. Hope you’re getting all your questions answered and having a great time! Hope you get to fly free like a bird over the water. Love you and miss you already! Your Rach
