Obituary of Cameron S. Grant, Jr.

Cameron S. Grant, Jr., age 76, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on May 24, 2025, at Wilmington Hospital.

Born in Chester, PA, to the late Cameron Grant, Sr. and Eleanor Wright Grant, Cameron (Caz) resided in Wilmington for the past 25 years. Prior to that, he lived in Boothwyn and Chester, PA.

Cameron's larger-than-life presence was one that could not be ignored – one that made the world feel bigger and brighter. He worked as a forklift operator for Foamex LP for over 40 years. A proud graduate of Chester High School, he was affectionately known as "The Legend" in his slow-pitch softball career. He was a gifted artist, enjoyed golfing, and loved his scratch-offs—but most of all, he cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Proud son, brother, father, uncle, and pop-pop, Caz leaves behind a legacy that will never fade.

In addition to his parents, Cameron was preceded in death by his sisters: Eleanor Grant Ford, Nancy Grant, Kathleen Grant, and Jeanette Motsinger.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Rose Greto Grant, and their children: Cameron Grant III (Ruthie), Jenine Harris (Amos), Susanne Grant (Jack), Josh Grant (Kris), and Eric Grant. He is also survived by his sisters: Susan DeGrave, Ruth Ann Taylor (James), Marylou Buscaglia (Jerry), Deborah Schnellenbach, and Donna Baldino (Paul). Cameron leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: A'la, Isaiah, Xena, Rachel, Jaxon, Cameron IV, Jacob, and Jayden.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, where friends may visit from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a service at 11:30 AM. Interment will remain private.
