I just heard this terrible news yesterday and thought it was a mistake. I worked with JJ in many disciplines during my career at Boeing also. We seemed to "strike it off" almost immediately. We had so very many things in common, virtually lock step. There were long periods of time that we saw, worked and collaborated with each other virtually daily.. Both of us were trying to educate ourselves about stock investments in a never ending effort to be able to support our precious families as well as God would allow us. We lost touch with each other after I retired. But there has always been a special place in my heart for JJ simply because of his dedication to his family and character that is so very hard to find. I am truly so very sorry for this huge loss for his family that obviously loved him deeply. How could they not. God speed JJ. Until we meet again I am truly sorry that I will not be able to extend my condolences in person as I will not be in the area. And for that I am very sorry also..
