Obituary of Dawson G. Butler Jr
Dawson "Tuck" G. Butler Jr., age 78, of Aston, PA, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, at Paoli Hospital. Born in Chester, PA, Tuck was a longtime resident of Aston and previously lived in Upper Chichester.Tuck worked as a rigger for Sun Oil in Marcus Hook for 20 years before retiring in 2017. A talented taxidermist throughout his adult life, he was known for his beautiful work with Trophy Mounts. Tuck was also a proud Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He was passionate about Harley-Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed spending time outdoors—gardening, hunting, fishing, and his camp in Tioga County. He was also a passionate member of the NRA.Tuck was preceded in death by his parents, Dawson Sr. and Louisa Gillette Butler; his beloved companion, Elizabeth "Kiki" Sliter; and his sister, Dawn Butler.Tuck is survived by his three stepdaughters, Renee (David) Will, Cherie DeHaven, and Diane Fleischmann; four nieces, Patty Clay, Jodi Woods, Amy Gregory, and Shannon Wolinski; his nephew, Jesse Gregory; and his brother-in-law, John (Donna) Cieslak.A visitation will be held Saturday from 9-10AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM. Interment will take place at Edgewood Memorial Park in Glen Mills, PA.In lieu of flowers, donations in Tuck's memory may be made to the Michael J.
