Obituary of Gail A. Albright
Gail A. Albright, age 81, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, at Naamans Creek Country Manor.
Born in Darby, PA, to the late James D. and Esther Richardson Morrison, Gail was raised in Sharon Hill and graduated from Sharon Hill High School with the Class of 1962. She spent the last 20 years as a resident of the Winterset Farms community in Wilmington, DE, after previously residing in Sharon Hill.
Gail worked for many years as a bartender and waitress at Stouffer's Top of Centre Square, located in the First Pennsylvania Tower, until its closing. She later served in the cafeteria at Shipley Junior High School, retiring in 2015 after five years of dedicated service.
Gail and her husband, Edward, were longtime members of the Penn Del Archers Club and enjoyed traveling together to archery tournaments across the United States. A passionate fan of both the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, Gail also enjoyed evenings out with her friends and the simple joys of good company.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Edward R. Albright; her brothers, James (Geri) Morrison and Jack (Janet) Morrison; her brother-in-law, Jim Gorman; sisters-in-law, Pam (Geoff), Susan, Millie, and Kathy; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 9th at 11:00 AM at Edgewood Memorial Park, 325 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, PA.
