Elizabeth Curry (O'Hanlon) 93 years of age lived in Wilmington Delaware, passed away May 3, 2025 at home with her family in Wilmington, DE.
Born August 14, 1931 and raised in Marcus Hook, PA., Betty was the eldest of seven children. After attending Notre Dame high school, she began her career working for Bell Telephone Company, then later in life, worked in the finance/billing dept at St Francis Hospital, where she remained for several years before eventually retiring.

She enjoyed board games, playing cards, and spending time with family. Never lacking a quick witted comment, Betty could always make those around her laugh.
Betty was a devoted wife to Robert, a loving mother to Sherry, Beth and Bob and a proud grandmother to 9 grandchildren. She spent many years traveling with her beloved husband before his passing. She cherished time spent with her family, whether it was sharing stories around the table, teaching life lessons, traveling or simply enjoying the laughter of those she loved.
Betty is predeceased by her husband of 47 years Robert Curry, survived by her daughter Sherry (Chris) Cheeseman, Elizabeth (Richard) Jacobs and son Bob (Gail) Curry Jr. and well as nine grandchildren, Bernard, Laura, Anne, Ryan, Courtney, Vincent, James, Sean and Samantha.
