Obituary of Larry M. Moore

Larry M. Moore, age 71, of Chadds Ford, PA, passed away on May 3, 2025, at Temple University Hospital. He was born in Albany, NY, to the late Harvey and Margaret (Kent) Moore.

Larry resided in Chadds Ford for 18 years, having previously lived in Portsmouth, VA and Apalachin, NY. He worked 49 years for Asplundh Tree Expert CO, finishing out his career as a Sponsor before retiring. Larry enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, and fishing. His other hobbies included collecting wines, and traveling—especially to Key West, which held a special place in his heart.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by three siblings: Danny, Carol, and Kathy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Moore, and their two daughters, Rachel Moore, and Amber (Frank) Howard. He is also survived by his son Shaun (Sengda) Moore and two cherished grandchildren, Elijah and Zachary along with two brothers Robert (Shae) Moore and Harvey Moore, sister-in-law, Susan Moore and his father- and mother-in-law, Ted and Yoshi Briggs.
 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately.
