Obituary of Ann S. Hayes

Ann S. Hayes, age 59, of Elwyn, PA, passed away peacefully at home on April 23, 2025. Born in England to the late Roy and Joyce C. Mayhead Hayes, Ann was raised in Boothwyn, PA, and had lived in Elwyn for the past 10 years. Annie brought joy to everyone who knew her. She loved music, especially The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins, and she found great happiness in swimming, trips to the pool, and car rides with her dad. One of her greatest adventures was traveling across 26 states with her parents—a journey she cherished every moment of. She was known for her infectious smile, cheerful spirit, and sense of humor. Her presence lit up every room. Ann is survived by her loving sister, Tina A. Hayes; nieces Lindsay Hayes and Megan Timlin; and great-nieces and nephews Logan, Liam, and Sophia. She is also fondly remembered by many extended family members in England and Scotland. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
