Obituary of Bryan K. Ciliberto
Bryan K. Ciliberto, age 35, of Linwood, PA, passed away suddenly at home on April 19, 2025.
Born in Jacksonville, FL, Bryan spent the past seven years in Linwood, PA, after previously living in St. Marys, GA and Boothwyn PA. A hardworking and passionate commercial fisherman for over 20 years, Bryan worked alongside his father on a fishing boat off the coast of New Jersey for the past seven years.
He attended Chichester High School. In his early years, Bryan enjoyed time spent with his mother and brothers, going to the PA Renfaire, hiking through state parks, and vacations to Disney World, Bermuda, and the Florida Keys, Bryan had a deep love for the outdoors—especially hunting with his father. His work allowed him to travel extensively, and his adventurous spirit was matched by his creative side. He was a skilled whip maker and handler, dabbled in blacksmithing, and had a love for calligraphy and 3D printing. Bryan was funny and quick-witted. The stories that he shared of all of his adventures were captivating.
Above all, Bryan cherished time with his children. Whether it was enjoying a day at the beach, walking on the Wildwood boardwalk, fishing at a local creek, sharing story time, or preparing dinner and then watching movies together, his greatest joy came from being a dad.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Mikael Mihalos (2018); his stepfather, George Mihalos (2016); and his paternal grandfather, Pete Ciliberto and maternal grandfather Maurice Kulp Jr.
Bryan is survived by his loving children, Chloe Ciliberto and Bryan Ciliberto Jr.; their mother, Michelle Chalfant; and his stepson, James.
