My sincere condolences to the family. I know Larry will be missed by everyone he touch in his very full life. I had the privilege of knowing and working with Larry for 25 plus years. He was a great mentor, consummate professional who always shared his knowledge with anyone who asked.
it was an honor to have worked with Larry over the years. He was a great friend to me. He shared many of the joys he and in his life and rarely shared his personal sorrows. I know his life was full of meaning with his children , grand children and great grand children.
RIP my friend, you left a big mark in our world and I thank you for that.
regards,
David Costa

I worked with Larry on several ships in Newport News VA, not only as a Sailor but as Civil Service as well. I will always consider him a mentor and a friend. No matter the situation Larry led with his wit and knowledge and most of all his calm demeanor. My deepest condolences to his family. I will miss you, my friend!

Larry will be missed greatly by me, him and I were very close. We kept in touch with each other monthly. He helped me more than any other person with work and diabetes. He was like a second father to me. I loved him immensely. My life will never be the same without him. I send all my condolences to his family which I know he loved them all. With all my Love and sorrow: Allen Auerbach

My sincerest condolence to your family. Larry was my mentor since I was a young engineer at NAWC launching test department. A close friendship developed over the years and continued till the end. Not only Larry demonstrated exceptional technical excellence, more importantly, also second to none in moral standard, personal conduct, and conscientiousness. RIP Larry, it's been an honor and privilege. See you at the shipyard in the sky.

My deepest condolences for your lost. Larry and I worked together at NAEC and NAWC Philadelphia and Lakehurst for over forty years. I kept in touch with Larry after retirement and loved talking to him about the old times and the many workers and friends that touched our lives and left. Larry was a great engineer and mentor who I loved and had the privilege to call my friend. I will sorely miss him and conversations we had. Larry rest in peace.

My sincerest and deepest condolences to the Ferreri family. Larry and I worked together at NAWC Lakehurst Launching Test Division for many years. I eventually became Larrys supervisor and considered Larry a true friend from whom I learned so much. Larry was truly the “Catapult Doctor” who was dedicated to his work. Each time a new Aircraft Carrier was being built, Larry traveled to Newport News Va., starting approximately 9 months before completion of the shipboard catapult installations to monitor, test, and ensure the job is done correctly. His expertise in catapult systems is unparalleled, but Larrys real expertise was in his personality and the kind and thoughtful way he treated people. I cannot say enough to express my admiration for Larry as a person. I’m sure Larry is with God right now.
