Obituary of John C. Kline

John C. Kline, age 82, of Upper Chichester, PA, passed away on March 23rd 2025, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Chester, PA, to the late John and Thelma Hurst Kline, he spent the past 58 years in Upper Chichester, having previously resided in Trainer, PA. John was a graduate of Eddystone High School and worked as a steel worker before retiring with Boeing as a sheet metal fabricator. He found joy in simple pleasures, such as visiting "the Sale," where he enjoyed sitting on the bench in front of Rebecca's Kitchen, people-watching. He also loved spending time at Marcus Hook Park and watching the horse races at the track. Some of his fondest memories were made down at the beach, strolling Rehoboth's boardwalk, and relaxing on a bench to take in the sights. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy M. Nickle Kline (2000); his son, Robert C. Kline Sr.; his daughter, Brenda Lee (The Late Derek) Reczek; his brother, Edward Kline; and his sisters, Mary Ann Lockwood and Lillian Clark. He is survived by his sons, Bruce Kline and Michael Anthony Kline Sr. (Deborah), his daughter in law Debbie Garrett Kline, his sisters, Doris Hoffman and Lois Hararsymiw; his grandchildren, Robert Jr., Robert, Anthony, Daniel, Kelsea, and Michael Jr.; and eight great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by funeral services at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
