Obituary of Colette Marie Taggart

Colette Marie Taggart, age 62, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on March 19, 2025, at AccentCare Hospice at Wilmington Hospital. Born to Gerard and Elaine Mitchell Brady, Sr., in Chester, PA, she resided in Wilmington, DE, for the past 14 years, previously living in Claymont, DE. Colette worked as a hairdresser and cosmetologist since she was 18 years old. She had a passion for movies and books and was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing and painting. Above all, she cherished spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerard Brady,Sr., who passed in 2010. She is survived by her mother, Elaine Brady; her children, Christopher Taggart, Tayler Taggart, and John Taggart (Jessica); her siblings, Gerard Brady, Jr., Patricia Solomon, and William Brady; and her beloved grandchildren, Tianna, Jayden, Gabriella, and A.J.
