Obituary of Aline Schilling

Aline Schilling of Glen Mills, PA

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Aline Boechet Schilling, at the age of 87. She left us peacefully on March 16, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Aline resided in the Maris Grove community for the past 9 years, prior residing in Palm Coast, FL and Southampton , PA

Born on May 23, 1937, to Auguste C. and Tessie Raszynska Boechat, Aline Boechet grew up in Philadelphia where she met the love of her life, John Schilling. Together, they raised three children Renee Schilling Zajack, Jacqueline Schilling Holt and John C. Schilling. As a grandmother, she adored her five grandchildren, Jordan Zajack, Nick Napoletano, Joelle Palmer, Johnny Schilling and Danielle Schilling, and embraced her role as a great-grandmother to two precious great-grandchildren, Jace and Liam Zajack. Her family was her pride and joy, and she often expressed how grateful she was for the bonds she created.

Aline graduated from Little Flower High School, Class of 1955 and worked as a medical assistant for 20 years before retiring in 1995.

Aline possessed a strong spirit and a warm heart. Known for her kindness, quick humor, and fierce loyalty to family and friends, Aline touched the lives of many. Her love of food, cooking, family gathering and the fightin Phils brought joy to those around her, and her generous nature left an indelible mark on her family.

A profound loss was felt when her cherished daughter, Renee, and her beloved husband, John, predeceased her. Aline's family takes solace that she has been reunited with them. Her family also wishes to thank Aline's caregiver Yvonne for the many years of comfort and companionship she provided in Aline's last years.

As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate her life and the profound impact she had on all who knew her. Her welcoming smile, warmth, and love of family will always be remembered.

Relative and friends are invited to the Committal Service for Aline on Saturday, March 29th at 9:45AM at S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 15600 Sproul Road, Springfield, PA.

A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11:45AM at Maris Grove Chapel, 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA, where family and friends may visit from 11:00AM-11:45AM and share their memories and honor her remarkable life.

Rest in peace, dear mother. You will forever remain in our hearts.
