Obituary of Edward W. Zwier
Edward "Ed" W. Zwier, age 66, of Boothwyn, PA, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on March 15, 2025. Born in Chester, PA, Ed was a lifelong resident of Boothwyn.
He was a dedicated truck driver for Delaware County Supply Co. for over 40 years, retiring in 2021. A graduate of Chichester High School, Ed went on to serve in the U.S. Army as part of the 101st Airborne Division during peacetime.
In his younger years, Ed was an avid bowler, an enthusiastic online gamer, and a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan. He enjoyed visiting Booths Corner Farmers Market—especially Auntie Anne's Pretzels—but above all, he cherished time spent with his family.
Ed was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Magee Zwier, and his brother-in-law, John Mann (2018). He is survived by his loving siblings, Patricia Hubert, Alice Mann, and Barbara Wilson; nieces Amanda, Casey, and Danielle; nephews Tommy and Bradley; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, March 21st, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 8:00 PM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. Interment will be private.
