Obituary of Eugene McNally Sr.

Eugene "Gene" McNally Sr., age 83, of Boothwyn, PA, passed away on March 5, 2025, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia, Gene lived in Boothwyn for the past 19 years, following his time in Milmont Park. Gene had a long and dedicated career, working as a truck driver for Airborne Express for five years before retiring in 1992. Prior to that, he worked for over 15 years at The Bulletin. Outside of work, Gene had many passions. He enjoyed playing the horses, watching football and baseball, and spending time shopping, working in the yard, and most of all, relaxing on his sun porch. Gene was preceded in death by his parents, William and Catherine Kehoe McNally, and four siblings: Rita Keenan, James McNally, Joseph McNally, and John McNally. He is survived by his beloved wife, Isabelle S. Robinson McNally; his son, Gene (Patricia) McNally Jr.; his brother, William (Margaret) McNally; three granddaughters, Gina, Cecilia, and Mia McNally; and his two loyal companions, Max and Norman. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12th, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
