Obituary of Elizabeth Moorhead

Elizabeth “Chippy” Moorhead, age 43, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away on February 28, 2025, in Mickleton, NJ. Born in Media, PA, she was a long-time resident of Chester Heights, PA.

Chippy was a 1999 graduate of Garnet Valley High School and earned a degree in Accounting from the P.J.A. School. She was working as a waitress and was planning on returning to school in the Fall.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Mike DellaVecchio, who passed away in 2023, and survived by her mother, Kate DellaVecchio, her sisters, Katie Haines (Steven) and Shannon Welch (Harley) and her brother, Lewis Moorhead. And her father Lewis Moorhead.

She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Marie Hassler, her nephews Zachary and Austin Haines. Also, many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, long time extended family Sylvan and Alexis Gilroy who all loved her dearly.

There’s also mention of her beloved dog, Teddie, who she cherished for 19 years.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
