Obituary of Mary B. Keiser
Mary B. Keiser, age 93, of Glen Mills, PA, passed away on February 20, 2025, at Springfield Rehabilitation Center.
Born and raised in Eddystone, PA, Mary was a longtime resident of Glen Mills for the past 56 years, having previously lived in Eddystone. Alongside her husband, she owned and operated ABC Land Day Care Center in Drexel Hill for over 20 years before retiring.
A 1949 graduate of Eddystone High School, Mary was an active student who enjoyed playing field hockey, basketball, and swimming. She was a devoted member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, where she found joy in singing in the choir. An accomplished artist, she loved painting and was a proud member of the Delco Artist Association. She also had a passion for traveling and cooking, but above all, she cherished time spent with her family.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Earl E. and Ruth Powell Babcock; her husband, Glenn Keiser who passed in 1999; her son, Grant Gore who passed in 1972; her stepson, Glen Keiser Jr.; her stepdaughter, Sherill Keiser; and her siblings, Dolly Babcock, Earl Babcock Jr., and Gene Greshinbucher.
She is survived by her sons, Mark Gore and Sam Gore Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Debbie Keiser; three grandchildren, Glen Keiser III (Valarie), Debbie Ann Herman (Greg), and Michael Keiser (Sara); and four great-grandchildren, Gannon and Caroline Keiser, and twins Emma and Hannah Herman.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
