Obituary of Nancy K. Kennedy

Nancy Kennedy, age 77, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on February 8, 2025, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Chester, PA, to the late Albert D. and Sadie Litwa Kardine, Nancy spent the past 45 years residing in Wilmington, DE. She was a 1965 graduate of Chi Chester High School and worked as a dedicated bank teller for 30 years before retiring in 2011. A devoted member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church, Nancy cherished her faith and community. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Charles J. Kennedy, and her brothers, Albert Kardine and Robert Kardine. Nancy is survived by her cousin and loving caretaker, Suzanne Smith; her nephew, Robert Smith Jr.; nieces, Alana Moran and Nicole Kardine; and her dear friend, Bertie Malony. She will also be missed by her cherished furbabies, Rocco and Bruno.A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA, followed by funeral services at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy's memory may be made to G.O.D, P.O. Box 1883, Boothwyn, PA 19061, or to the Brandywine SPCA.
