Denise and girls, I was so sad to hear of Charley's passing. I have wonderful memories of spending time with him in every ice rink and hotel we were in. He was a wonderful person, father, businessman and friend. I will miss his laughter and cutting humor (usually at my expense). But will have great memories. You are all in our prayers and we are sending hugs. ❤️ The Bonner Family.

Dear Denise, Allie, Maggie and Lizzie,
We are so sorry to hear of Charley’s passing and you are in our thoughts and prayers. We have so many fond memories of Charley at the shore. He had a wicked sense of humor, a love for his family and a zest for life. His ever present wide grin always told us how happy he seemed to be which we are certain is due to all of you. We believe that right now he is making others laugh in heaven and is spreading the joy that he always possessed and shares with others. May he rest in peace. Love, Rachel and Stuart

I am so very grieved and sorry at the loss of Charley, and I extend my sincerest condolences to Denise and the entire extended Gaebel family and friends. Charley's sense of humor and overall positive attitude in all things was always an encouraging friend and brother in Christ and a breath of fresh air as we met for several family Christmas', vacations at Brant Lake in the Adirondacks, and other family events.
I pray that our great good Father God of all peace comforts Denise and the entire extended Gaebel family and friends in all the peace, love, and joy in Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. Though I will greatly miss Charley, I know that for those in Christ it is never farewell, but rather until we meet again the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Peace, love, and Joy in Christ,
Jim Ventura

Dear Denise, Maggie, Ali and Lizzie.
Charley touched the lives of so many.
Living with you all for a year - truely showed me how magical a family can be when love is aligned.
I have so many beautiful and hilarious memories of Charley. Mostly when trying to sleep in, he would vacuum the floors and even leave the vacuum running and unattended outside my bedroom door just to annoy me. And that was Charley.
He showed love in so many ways.
My thoughts are with you all.
Love From Bec

So sorry for your loss. Chuck was a good man. I loved all our talks at Lizzie’s high school field hockey games or running into him at landhope in the mornings. I would see him walking as I would drive by and blow my horn he would throw his hand up and said hello because he knew it was me. You will be missed my friend. Rest easy. Love Mike Hebb

I remember meeting Charlie at church, always had a smile on his face and kind words to speak. I was blessed to give him a hug at church. I sent him encouragement and continued to pray for him during his battle. I could see the bright light of Christ in his face, despite his struggles. I will miss him, but I rejoice that he is saved and in the arms of Jesus Christ. Janet Grosso

I was blessed to meet Charlie at Orange Theory. He was such an inspiration to me pushing me to work harder in each and every class we took together… and if I missed a class he never let me hear the end of it! He will continue to inspire me as I work out - looking up to heaven from the treadmill -thinking of him! My deepest sympathy to his beautiful family! Sending you all (( Hugs )) You are all in my daily thoughts and prayers! God Bless You! Love- Michele Brigham

I will miss passing him in the Unionville Park walking. He was a bright smile and no matter how he felt you could count on a smile and quick catch up on family news.

I will remember Mr. Gaebel's loud cheering at all our games, the way every one of Lizzie’s friends knew and loved him, his banter every time we’d hang out by the pool, his devotion to Jesus, and most importantly the way he loved his daughters, wife, and everyone who loved them. The world will be a little quieter without him, and his presence will be missed.
