Obituary of Thomas Patrick Connell

Thomas P. Connell, age 69, of Boothwyn, PA passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Born in Carrolltown, PA to Richard G. and Patricia Ann Cunningham Connell, he was raised in the Boothwyn area where he resided most of his life. He was retired as a Master Mold Maker with Franklin Mint for over 25 + years and also had worked as an escalator technician. Tom was a Master Mason, F & AM Lodge #119, Merchantville, NJ and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He was the Past President of the Avondale, PA chapter of the Brotherhood of the Jungle Cock. Tom loved fishing, hunting, completing taxidermy projects and helping his wife to rescue many animals. He especially loved time spent with his family and friends in his Man Hut. Tom was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Regina Ann Murphy Connell, his daughter, Meghan Connell; his two brothers, Timothy (Gina) Connell and Donald (Peggy) Connell, and his nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave, Boothwyn, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Tom to Faithful Friends Animal Society, 12 Germay Dr. Wilmington DE. 19804.
