Francis J. Coldren, age 80, of Upper Chichester, PA passed away peacefully on October 26, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, Frank has resided in the Upper Chichester area since 2005. He was a longtime resident of Exton PA and also spent time in Avalon NJ and Florida. Frank served in the National Guard during the Vietnam Era. Franks career spanned over 40 years at several large banks as a corporate credit officer, most recently at Commerce and TD Bank. Frank was an avid golfer and was a member of the Wildwood Country Club. A man devoted to his faith, he was a member of the Church of the Holy Child in Wilmington, DE. Frank was also known as an avid Eagles fan who also enjoyed the sport of boxing. He was instrumental in the development of the LYA, Lionville Youth Association, where he coached soccer and the traveling team. In addition to his father, Francis Coldren and his mother, Edith Grant Coldren, he is preceded in death by a son, Christopher Grant Coldren. Frank is survived by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Hampson Coldren, sons, Kevin (Lisa) Coldren and Matthew (Diana) Coldren and 4 grandchildren, Grant, Hadley, Tyler and Lauren Coldren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, 8:30-10:00AM at the Pagano Funeral Home 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30AM at the Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Rd., Wilmington, DE. Interment, S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's name may be made to the St. Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave, Flourtown, PA 19031.
