To the Neary Family:
Words alone cannot express my sincere and heartfelt sympathies to everyone in the Neary family and to all the friends and loved one's who have been touched by Kendal throughout the years. His passing has left a major void in all of our lives.
I met my best friend Ralph (Kendal's brother) over 45+ years ago and I have known Kendal and the entire Neary family ever since then. In fact, the Neary family has always made me feel like part of their family my entire life.
Kendal was a kind, caring and easy-going person. He was so friendly and fun to talk with. I vividly remember that as a young kid Kendal would take me and Ralph to Brandywine Raceway and Delaware Park to see the sulkies and thoroughbreds run. He would never let me pay a cent during any of these trips and he showed Ralph and I how to handicap a horse race. These were very special times for me and very special memories. One thing that I owe entirely to Kendal is my love for peanut butter toast. I saw him eating this one day when I was 11 years old and I tried it and I have been enjoying it ever since.
The world is a better place because of people like Kendal Neary and I know I am a better person for having known him all of these years.
My deepest condolences go out to all of Kendal's family and friends. May God bless each of you at this difficult time.
