Rich, Please accept my deepest condolences for Susan’s passing. She was a dear friend and colleague for many years at Garnet Valley and in the many years after my retirement. I really loved our luncheon gatherings she would plan for the retired teacher community. She was an outstanding and compassionate person who will be missed greatly. Sorry for your loss, Mr. Gatchell, and family. Mrs. Gatchell was my typing teacher my freshman year of high school as well as my advisor in FBLA all 4 years of my high school experience. Under her guidance, I was vice president of our FBLA chapter for two years and she helped me grow and shape me into the person I am today. I put this ornament on my tree every Christmas that she gave me upon graduation and it helps me remember my fond memories of high school, FBLA and Mrs. Gatchell. Keeping your family in my prayers.
