I saw Bob with his Vietnam Veteran hat on about a year ago. I asked about it and he told me about flying in Vietnam and his service in the USAF. He showed me this picture taken in Vietnam of him and his jet "Sizzlin' Susie," named for his lovely wife Susan. He went on to tell me how proud he was of his service, his wife and his children. Bob was a true gentleman. RIP

There was a time when we were getting mcdonalds and I had the chance to ask him a bunch of questions about the air force and all the experiences he had, it was really special to be able to connect with him through his experiences. Hes the best grandpop I could ask for and I'll forever miss him and cherish the moments we had. I am grateful I had a chance to say goodbye and tell him that I love him. Love you grandpop
