Obituary of Dolores A. Stefano

Dolores "Aunt Dee" Stefano, age 90 of Glen Mills, PA died peacefully on April 19, 2018 at Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital. Born Philadelphia and raised in South Philadelphia, she resided for the past 8 years in the Maris Grove Community in Glen Mills, PA, previously residing in Morton and Lansdowne. A homemaker, Dolores graduated from Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia, she enjoyed knitting, reading, cooking and crossword puzzles but most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, Santo and Maria Carolla Allegra, husband, John N. Stefano who died in 1998, 5 siblings, Pauline Delia, Rose Lonetti, Caroline Gionta, Ida Olcese and Carmen Allegra. She is survived by 2 sons, John Stefano and his wife Mariane and Stephen Stefano and his wife Denise, 3 grandchildren, Brian (Taylor Fultz) Stefano, Jacqueline (Ryan) Ayre and Megan (Michael) Joseck, 2 great grandchildren, Kennedy and Stefan Ayre. A visitation will be held on Tuesday 8:45-9:45AM, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 2130 Franklin Ave., Morton, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM.
